Healthy cookies dry fruit truffle, no bake, breakfast and snack recipe
This snack reipe is sweet and healthy, it is great combination for those who want to eat healthy but yummy food. This will be prepared in no tym, also it'll last for days. You can carry it in your bag and eat anytime you want.
Ingredients:
20 multi grain biscuits(Mcvities or Britannia nutri choice)
1/2 cup roasted and chopped dry fruits(almonds, raisins, cashew and walnuts)
1 tbsp coffee
1tbsp cocoa powder
100gm dark or white chocolate compound
Method:
Crush the biscuits from a rolling pin or in a mixer jar. Add the roasted dryfruits, coffee, cocoa powder and mix.
Now melt the dark chocolate on double boiler or in microwave oven.
After the chocolate is melted. Pour 1/3 of the chocolate in the crushed biscuit mix. Add milk also along with the chocolate and bind it in the form of a dough.
Milk is required to bind the biscuit mix well because these multi grain bran biscuits are dry and does not have much oil and moisture. It is ok if the biscuit mix does not form a proper dough, you should be able to make small balls from it. It may be little bit difficult to make balls out of it. You may make any other shape if you want.
Freeze them for few minutes to let them set.
Take out from the fridge and start coating the balls one by one in the chocolate. You may coat them in white chocolate or in dark chocolate.
If you want healthier version coat with dark chocolate.
And if you are coating them with white chocolate make sure that you coat them well because a thin layer of white chocolate doesn't work on these balls.
Garnish the balls with drizzle of another color chocolate, dessicated coconut or crushed dry fruits.
