Condensed milk at home

Tired of buying condensed milk and spending lots of money, now prepare your own condensed milk and store for 2 weeks without any problem.
It is almost 30% in the price, you pay to buy it from market.



Preparation time: 20 minute

Ingredients:

Half kg full fat milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 spoon baking soda

Method:

Boil the milk and then add sugar and keep stirring. When the sugar is mixed properly and comes to boil, then add baking soda and keep stirring till the milk thickens on low flame. Turn off the flame and Your condensed milk is ready. After it is cooled down transfer in air tight container or bottle.

Tips:
1. Keep stirring the mixture or else the sugar will cook and caramelise and your condensed milk will be brown in color.
2. Keep stirring till the milk is almost 75% in quantity.
3. Cook on low flame because on higher flame, the milk will spill.
