Papad masala, snack recipe

When you have something flat and crisp, make a pizza out of it. This recipe is that of pizza but with a twist. It is a pizza on papad. Yes you heard it right! It is very easy to make and also can be served after your regular meals. You can also serve it as a snack in house parties. The papad will be crisp when it is at home temperature. Make this easy recipe and let me know your creation.




Papad masala

Preparation time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking time:
3 minutes in microwave oven
5 minutes on gas stove

Serves: 3-4 people

Ingredients:

1 papad sheet uncooked
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum (optional)
Processed or mozeralla cheese to taste
5-6 dollops of Processed cheese made at home
Oregano to taste

Method:

On a plate place the papad flat. Spread the mayonnaise and tomato sauce on the base of papad.

Top it with onion, tomato, capsicum and spread evenly.

Grate the mozeralla cheese and spread leaving the 1/2 inch sides.

Sprinkle some oregano.
Microwave for 2 minute and 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

If you do not have microwave, then put on hot tawa or flat pan, cover with plate or lid and cook for around 5 minutes. Check in between if it looks cooked.

Cut it into 6-8 pieces when hot, otherwise you'll not be able to cut evenly.

Serve hot.
